Eastern Suburbs Junior Cricket Club strive to do the following for Junior cricket in the southern and eastern areas of Wellington City
- To have all children find cricket very enjoyable
- To develop the skills of cricket in each child as much as possible
- To have each child feel an affinity to Easts so they want to return after their schooling to the club
